Swynnerton Summer Camp 2006 featured a new Fieldcraft activity, organised and carried out by TSW. Headed up by Corporal (Cpl) Jason Atkinson and five other TSW personnel, the new activity was a great success.

Swynnerton 2006
Swynnerton 2006 has begun. Three hundred and twenty cadets, along with 80 staff, started the Easter Camp full of fine spirit and gusto today (14 April 2006). Wing Commander Colin Cope toured the first day of camp, held at the Swynnerton Training Area, Milmease, Stone, Staffordshire, and was impressed by the range of activities on offer this year. . .

This is the story of 10 brave Staffordshire Wing cadets, given a mission turned down by everyone but the bravest (or the most foolish) of cadets. A story of hard work, of team work, of sacking off work at weekends... of pain, pleasure, the good times, the bad times, boots, blisters, Melanin dressing pads, donuts, Vaseline, and of course... marching.
