Three cadets and Squadron Leader Mark Brayford, Staffordshire Wing Training Officer, travelled to Bader House in Fairford to collect a cheque for £1000 from the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust. Presented by Sir Michael Knight, Chairman of the RAF Charitable Trust and also President of RIAT, the money is to enable Staffordshire Wing cadets to maintain the RAF Auxiliary memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas for three years.

Once again, Staffordshire Wing held a BTEC weekend on the 2 and 3 December 2006. For the third time, this weekend provided an absolutely essential two days for those cadets that wish to gain an extra academic qualification and CV filler - FOR FREE!
