Cdt Crossan Named as Region Sports Cadet

Cadet Kevin Crossan from 239 (Longton) Squadron has been named the Wales & West Region Male Sports Cadet of the Year. This is the second year running that Staffordshire Wing has won this award.

He is an all round cadet who is involved in all squadron activities whether they be sport, shooting or adventure training. His number one expertise is sport and was first noticed when he represented Wing at athletics in his very first year.

This year has been his most successful. At squadron level he has taken part in swimming, rugby, soccer, cross country and athletics. At Wing level, swimming, cross country, soccer, and in three events at athletics. Cdt Crossan is also wearing a Wing Super blue for representing Wing at three different Wales & West Region event: swimming, cross country and in three events in athletics. To top all that, he even has a Corps Blue in athletics, again competing in two events.
