Swynnerton 2006 has begun. Three hundred and twenty cadets, along with 80 staff, started the Easter Camp full of fine spirit and gusto today (14 April 2006). Wing Commander Colin Cope toured the first day of camp, held at the Swynnerton Training Area, Milmease, Stone, Staffordshire, and was impressed by the range of activities on offer this year. . .

Although the day started off cloudy and a little bit chilly, the afternoon turned into glorious sunshine. The photographs in the gallery demonstrate the change in weather. The activities included bridge building, as can be seen in the photograph with the Wing Commander spectating, canoeing, field craft exercises, sports, the range, a new radio comms exercise, a confidence course, the famous assault course and the annual leadership training section.
