The ATCs prime activity is Flying. Staffordshire Wing is affiliated to 8 AEF at DCAE Cosford. Once enrolled, Air Experience Flying (AEF) is available to all cadets who will have the opportunity to fly in the Grob Tutor twin seat aircraft.
The Tutor entered the RAF service in 1999, replacing the Bulldog as a trainer aircraft. The RAF Tutor has dual controls and two seats, which are in side-by-side format.
