Camping is an essential skill for anyone undertaking trekking on foot.
In addition to erecting a tent, the skills of cooking and equipment selection go to make ‘camping’ an important element of any expedition.
Squadrons of Staffordshire Wing camp right across the country, from North Yorkshire to Wales and the Peak District.
Cadets are given in-depth training at their Squadrons before embarking on expeditions in the fields of equipment selection, putting up and locating a tent as well as safe and hygienic cooking.
