The National Navigation Award Scheme is an open qualification targeted towards individuals who wish to gain a recognised award which acknowledges navigational ability. Staffordshire Wing has recently obtained NNAS Centre status to be able to offer the awards to Cadets and Staff within the Wing.
The award supports and acknowledges training currently undertaken within both the ATC Syllabus and the Duke of Edinburgh?s Award Expedition training criteria. The award can also be used to contribute to the BTEC in Public Services. The introduction of this award represents a fantastic opportunity for our Wing and I heartily encourage all units to take part.
