Adventure Training

Welcome to the Staffordshire Wing Adventure Training Web Page. As Wing Adventure Training Technical Officer (WATTO), responsible for overseeing and monitoring all adventure training activities that are undertaken by our 31 Squadrons.

Staffordshire Wing is exceedingly fortunate to have almost 100 well qualified staff amongst the Officers, Adult SNCOs and Civilian Instructors of the Wing, not to forget the increasing number of Instructor Cadet SNCOs that are attaining qualifications. All adventure training supervisors within the Wing hold the appropriate National Governing Body qualification for the activity they lead.

These well qualified individuals help to ensure that the activities undertaken by our cadets are fun, exciting, challenging and above all safe. I hope that this section gives you an insight into the varied adventure training activities on offer within the Air Training Corps and Staffordshire Wing in particular.
